Ingredients to prepare Piri Piri Chicken
14 chicken thighs
2 onions
An envelope of piri piri
3 potatoes
A teaspoon of sugar
A teaspoon of soy sauce
A tablespoon of flour
2 tablespoons of olive oil
How to prepare Chicken Piri Piri
Piri Piri Chicken is delicious. This chicken, slightly spicy, is a recipe that the Portuguese brought from Latin America and introduced it to their African colonies. It is delicious if you make it at home and it uses very common ingredients, so you have no excuse to make this recipe.
To enjoy a delicious piri piri chicken, the first thing we must do is put the chicken on a tray. They can be thighs or any other part of the chicken that you like.
Next, we add half of the sachet and stir it a few times, along with a tablespoon of olive oil and the juice of half a lemon. We reserve in the refrigerator.
On a baking tray we put the cut onion, along with the salt, sugar and soy sauce. We mix well.
On another tray we put the cut potatoes, with a little salt and a splash of olive oil, and two tablespoons of piri piri. We mix too.
Before putting the chicken in the oven, we sprinkle flour on it and with the oven preheated to 200o C we put the chicken and the other two trays. We let the set cook for 40 minutes.
We remove the chicken from the tray, add a little water and after moving the container we pour the liquid into a sauce boat. Then we serve the chicken with the potatoes and onion, and the sauce on top. Delicious!
