Ingredients to prepare Octopus with Butter and Garlic

An octopus of about 3 kg.
2 heads of garlic
A cup of butter
Chives
A branch of parsley
A quarter cup of olive oil
A quarter of red pepper
A beer
A little olive oil

How to prepare Octopus with Butter and Garlic

The octopus with butter and garlic has a delicious flavor. If you want to prepare a tapa that leaves your family or friends speechless, or prepare a unique dish for a special occasion, this recipe is just what you are looking for. You will surely enjoy it!

To enjoy a delicious octopus with butter and garlic, the first thing we have to do is wash and clean the octopus well. Then we boil it until it softens.

Meanwhile, we peel the garlic and crush it in a mortar. Chop the parsley and chives very well, and mix it with the butter and a little olive oil.

After approximately an hour of cooking the octopus, we remove it from the heat and drain it. We cut it into rather small pieces and set aside.

We put a little of the garlic and butter mixture in a saucepan until it is lightly golden. Then we add the octopus and stir with a wooden paddle.

We add more garlic and butter mixture and stir. Then, we add a beer, add salt to taste and stir until the sauce reduces. Delicious!
